Welcome!
Thank you for choosing to pray along with your brothers and sisters around the Warsaw area! We long to see God move in powerful ways in our community. Prayer always precedes power. Prayer always precedes change. So, we are praying for 24 hours on December 31 for God to move powerfully in 2025.
Just a few words about this Prayer Guide. It’s a guide, it’s a resource for you to use. If you feel led to stay at a venue longer, stay longer. If you have a better passage to read instead of the one in the guide, read it. If you have a different venue on your mind other than the ones in the guide, go there. If you want to pray for things that are not in the guide, pray for them. This is just a guide.
There are six venues as a part of this Prayer Guide. You can focus on just several of the venues, or you could visit every single venue. This is a tool for you to use to spend an hour praying for our community.
The goal is to cover the entire 24 hours of December 31 with prayer for the community at the beginning of the year. The God that invited us to pray is an incredibly creative God, so it’s OK to be creative in the way that we pray.

The Preparation
Plan: In order to pray in line with God’s will, we simply pray God’s Word. Daniel Henderson calls this “Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, worship-based prayer.”
Ephesians 6:10-12 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Pray for Yourself
Remind yourself that you are strong when you are IN the Lord. That is a place of safety.
Remember that no human is your enemy. They may be deceived by the enemy, but a human is not your enemy.
Pray and ask God to protect you and give you victory as you do spiritual warfare through prayer.

The Venues
Ephesians 6:13-18 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm [1]. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared [2]. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil [3]. Put on salvation [4] as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God [5].

Isaiah 55:10-11 “The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
5. Apply the Word of God: Since God’s Word produces fruit, pray that our country will be transformed by it.

Praying for another Church
Not the church you attend
Ephesians 6:18-20 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should.
Prayer: Pray that this church would be persistent in prayer.
Courage: Pray that this church would be bold as each person shares the Good News with those in their sphere of influence.
Walls: Pray that this church would be an influence in this community to bring healing between ethnic groups, socio-economic groups, and other churches.
Persecution: Pray that persecution against this church would only serve to advance the Good News and not hamper it in any way.
